2014 – Australia to the UK

In 2014, with our two children, we embarked on our first serious overland trip, shipping to Malaysia and then driving overland to the United Kingdom, taking 10 months, visiting 24 countries and covering some 35,000km’s.

It was a fantastic trip, allowing us access to rarely visited spots in the world such as the Naga lands in Eastern India, Myanmar in the brief window where foreign travellers in vehicles were allowed to enter and Pakistan and Iran when world relations were a little cooler! We were blessed to find friendly, welcoming and thoroughly interesting people in all parts of our travel. We kept a blog for the trip and if interested, can find the link here
